2Data Controller

• Payment data: transaction details, partial/masked card number (we never store full card data), payment and installment status.

• Teacher data: qualifications, subjects/specializations, educational systems, grade levels taught, profile picture.

• Creating and managing your account and delivering the Platform's educational services.
• Processing payments and issuing invoices/receipts in compliance with Egyptian tax regulations.

5Payment & Transaction Data

Payments are processed through licensed electronic payment gateways supervised by the Central Bank of Egypt and/or approved payment partners (e.g., Visa/Mastercard networks or Egyptian e-wallets). IGENIUS Academy does not store full bank card details (card number or CVV) on its servers; this is handled entirely by the certified payment processor in compliance with the PCI-DSS standard. We retain only the transaction record (transaction ID, date, amount, status) for accounting, audit, and customer-support purposes.

6Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. Data may only be shared with:

• Payment service providers to complete transactions.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers necessary to operate the Platform.
• Competent Egyptian authorities upon a valid legal or official request (e.g., tax authority or judicial bodies).

Under Egyptian personal data protection law, you have the right to:

10Minors' Privacy

As the Platform serves middle and secondary school students (IGCSE), registration of a minor student's data must be carried out by, or with the consent of, a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the accuracy of submitted data and for overseeing account usage.

11Data Retention

We retain data for as long as your account is active. After account closure, financial and tax records are retained for the period required under applicable Egyptian law (e.g., VAT and accounting regulations), after which data is deleted or anonymized once its legal purpose has expired.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
